It was a solemn session as students of the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN), staged candle procession for the late Miss Tonia, who passed away on March 14, 2024.

Tonia was the assistant class representative of the 200 level in the Department of Psychology.

Her death, according to several reports, was the result of an inherited red blood cell disorder.

However, Tonia’s death has left several students of the institution in mourning.

As they organized a candle procession yesterday at the Nsukka campus with her framed pictures.

Several students, such as her coursemates, grieving students, and class representatives,were in attendance.

The media prays for the peaceful repose of the deceased.
