Estate Management students at the University of Nigeria Enugu Campus (UNEC) have bitterly cried out.

Following the outrageous augmentation of class due for the first semester 2023-2024 academic session.

According to the information the class representative sent to their departmental WhatsApp group.

He clearly stated that the current class due amount for the semester is two thousand Naira (N2,000) instead of the previous amount.

However, he further gave a one-week deadline for the payment, which ended a few days ago on Tuesday, June 11th, 2024.

Good Morning Class, hope you have all been well

We are now one month into the semester sopayment of class dues has commenced.

You are required to send 2,000 NigerianNaira to the account below.

Once you have sent your payment, forward the receipt to me on WhatsApp

Ensure that you pay your class dues before the end of Tuesday, June 11th 2024 (One Week from now)

Late payment inhibits our efficiency.

Hence, the current fixed price for the class due didn’t sit well with some students of the department, as some of them were perturbed by the rapid increase in the usual amount.
